Executive Development

We approach development from the perspective of learning by doing. In our experience organisations rarely get a good return on their investment for executive training courses, as executives and managers get immersed back into their organisational life and do not get sufficient opportunities to experiment, test and integrate what was learned.

An old Chinese proverb captures the dilemma of training courses versus experiential executive development;

'I hear and I forget. I see and remember. I do and I understand'

We approach executive development with a strong emphasis on the experiential activity for any of the management skills training and theory delivered. We deliver bespoke executive development programmes that we design in collaboration with you and is informed by our 'Aspire, Act, Achieve' methodology.

A typical executive development programme over 6-12 month period would include components of a 360 degree feedback to capture the development needs, a 'master class' on some relevant aspect of management theory, followed up with one to one Executive Coaching and action learning sets that helps the assimilation of the theory for the executive while working on real issues, taking actions, and learning while doing so, not merely talking about them.
